Thomas C. Kuffa '94 remains one of the most dynamic players to step foot on the Thompson Gymnasium hardwood. Named a team captain as a sophomore, Kuffa continually worked to master his game and it showed. He averaged better than 18 points per game during his sophomore and junior seasons, and averaged a double-double with 20.7 points and 10.8 rebounds per game as a senior.
 
Kuffa, a native of Carlisle, Pa., ranks as the fifth leading scorer in men's basketball program history with 1,608 points. He’s also third on the program’s career steals list with 197 and its fourth-leading rebounder with 807.

Kuffa was voted MAC Northern Division Rookie of the Year following the 1990-91 season. He went on to be named all-conference four times, including MAC Northwest League Most Valuable Player in 1992-93. Thomas was also selected to a pair of National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III All-Mid-Atlantic District teams.
