Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame
Amy Hite Ravel was a three-time MAC First Team All-Star (1990, 1991, 1993) during a career in which she helped the Blue Jay women's soccer team to 40 wins. Originally from Wyomissing, Pa., Hite Ravel ranks sixth in program history with 32 goals and tied for seventh in points with 80.
A midfielder for coach Ed Batista, Hite Ravel scored a career-high 11 goals in 1991.
As a two-year member of the women's tennis team, Hite Ravel played primarily No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles. She teamed with Jodi Weidman to reach the doubles final at the MAC Championships in 1991. Hite Ravel repeated the feat in 1992 with Amy Jo Lutz, defeating No. 3 seed Haverford in the quarterfinals and No. 1 seed Dickinson in the semifinals en route to the championship match.
Hite Ravel graduated from Wilson High School in West Lawn, Pa., prior to attending Elizabethtown. A three-sport athlete in high school, she was inducted into Wilson's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000.
