Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame
King was a defensive standout for the Elizabethtown College women's basketball team in the late 1970's as the team rose to national prominence in the 1980's. She finished her time as a Blue Jay with multiple career and individual season records. King's 357 (1977-78) season rebounds still stand as number one in program history. Her 298 rebounds during the 1976-77 season ranks fifth in season records. She also ranks first and second, respectively in season rebounds per game with 14.9 (1976-77) and 14.3 (1977-78). King's 931 career rebounds place her second all-time while her 10.1 career rebounds per game is second all-time in Etown program history.
