Jeffrey R. Stauffer '80 is a native of Pennsburg, Pa. and a 1976 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. Jeff, a member of the men's tennis team at Elizabethtown, was inducted into the Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame, along with his older brother,
Randy, in 2009.
Jeff was a four-year letterwinner and two-time captain while with Blue Jay men's tennis. In 1979 and 1980, he received the A. Warren Angstadt Award, presented to the team's most outstanding player.
In his Elizabethtown career, Stauffer posted a combined singles and doubles record of 67-16.
After graduating with a degree in business administration in 1980, Stauffer served as both Vice President and Owner of Stauffer Glove & Safety, a family owned business.
Jeff is the fourth generation of the family business, which celebrated its 102nd year back in 2009.
He and his wife, Luanne, a 1981 Elizabethtown College graduate, reside in Pennsburg and have three children.
