Elizabethtown College Athletics

Herr served as co-team captain on the 1961 field hockey team where she was a key member of the Blue Jays' outstanding defense. A Central Pennsylvania First Team honoree, Herr helped the Blue Jays go undefeated and unscored on during the 1961 season. During her time on defense, she scored one career goal. The 1961 field hockey team was also inducted into the Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989.
