The Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame honors those individuals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to the intercollegiate athletic program at Elizabethtown College, or who have earned distinction in the world of athletics.

The hall of fame inducted its inaugural class in 1975. In its 46-year history, the hall of fame has enshrined 254 student-athletes, 11 coaches, seven teams and two athletic contributors. A new class is chosen annually by a selection committee made up of alumni and staff.

All inductees into the Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame are displayed in the main atrium of The Jay Walk, an extension of Thompson Gymnasium.
