Meredith Uber Fess '00 anchored the defense for the Elizabethtown College women's soccer team during the late 1990s, leading the program to Middle Atlantic Conference championships in 1996 and 1998, and the NCAA Division III Final Four in 1997.
Fess, from Long Valley, N.J., was a three-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team selection and a four-year MAC Commonwealth All-Star. She was a three-time First Team pick, and in 1999, conference Most Valuable Player. Fess was named to the All-Final Four Team in 1997.
The Blue Jays’ sweeper, Meredith led a defense that held opponents to less than a goal per game during her career and won 64 games over four seasons.
