Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame
Mandi Ewing Romig was the definition of a student-athlete during her time at Elizabethtown, becoming the first player in field hockey program history to earn CoSIDA First Team Academic All-America honors 2001. She earned All-Atlantic South region honors twice, first team in 2000 and second team in 1998, and was also invited to the NFHCA North/South Senior All-Star Game participant. Romig was named to the NFHCA Nation Academic squad twice in her career and was a three-time MAC Commonwealth Conference All-Star. She is currently ranked second in career assists (28), sixth in career points (118) and tied for seventh in career goals (45) in Elizabethtown field hockey history.
