Dunbar, McIntosh, Mann, Price Earn Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week Honors

TOWSON, Md. – For the second time this spring, Elizabethtown College tallied four Landmark Conference weekly awards, as senior Tyler Dunbar of the baseball team, senior O'livia McIntosh of women's track & field, and seniors Ean Mann and Brian Price all earned accolades announce by the organization Monday afternoon.

Dunbar was named Landmark Conference Pitcher of the week after throwing his first complete game since his sophomore season, leading the Blue Jays to a 3-2 win over Moravian on Sunday. The Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania native pitched nine strong innings for the Etown, scattering six hits, striking out eight, and allowing two unearned runs. In five of the nine innings, Dunbar put the Greyhounds down in order. He is second in the conference in K/9 (10.44) and fourth in strikeouts (29). This is the senior's first conference weekly award.

McIntosh earned Landmark Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors after winning all four events she competed in on Saturday. The Unionville, New York native placed first in both individual sprints, the 100m and 200m dashes. Her times of 12.81 and 26.70 were both season-bests. She also ran legs on the winning 4x100m and 4x400m relays. McIntosh moved up the program's top ten list in the 100m dash, going from sixth all-time to a tie for fourth. This is the first time McIntosh has been named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week.

Mann won a pair of individual events and was a leg of a winning relay on Saturday at the Blue Jay Tune Up. The Hancock, Maryland native won the 100m in 11.06 and 200m in 22.12, both the fastest times recorded during the outdoor season in the conference. Mann's 200m time improved his sixth-place standing all-time for Etown. This is the fifth time Mann has earned a weekly accolade from the Landmark.

Price won all three of his throwing events for the second consecutive meet and hit personal bests in two of those events Saturday. The York, Pennsylvania native threw a new PR in the shot put of 12.16m to go from seventh to sixth in school history and 37.75m in the hammer throw, which improved his eighth-place standing all-time. His winning throw in the discus was 38.76m. This is the third time Price has earned Athlete of the Week honors from the conference.

Elizabethtown heads into the final weekend of the regular season, starting with a doubleheader at Drew on Saturday, May 8. First pitch is set for 12:30 p.m. The men's and women's track & field teams will gear up for the upcoming Landmark Outdoor Championships on Saturday, May 8 at Susquehanna.
