WTRACK splits between Messiah and Bucknell

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's track and field team had members competing this weekend at the Messiah Invitational and Bucknell Outdoor Classic. The Blue Jays had 20 top ten place finishers at Messiah while Maria Anderson was the top finisher for E-town at Bucknell.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
-Natalie Nye had the team's best finish at Messiah with a second-place finish in the pole vault. All three vaulters place in the top six.
-Four runners placed for the Blue Jays in the 5,000m, led by Kaitlin Donahue.
-Kamara Litchauer, Haley Prengaman, and Jordan Sobolesky all placed in the triple jump.
-Christina Ippolito set an all-time mark in the long jump competition.
-Natalie Nye also set an all-time mark in the 100m hurdles.
-Alexa Feduchak set new PRs in the discus and hammer, Leah Gamber with a new PR in the discus.
-Sarah Fake improved her javelin throw for the third straight competition.
-At Bucknell, Maria Anderson was in the top ten in the 3,000m steeplechase, Colleen Kernan set an all-time mark in the 10,000m

-Leah Gamber's 30.71m (100'9") improves her seventh-place standing all-time.
-Alexa Feduchak's 42.59m (139'9") in the hammer throw moves her from fourth to second all-time.
-Sarah Fake's 33.88m (111'2") in the javelin improves her sixth-place standing all-time.
-Colleen Kernan's 37:44.72 in the 10,000m is the tenth-fastest all-time.
