TOWSON, Md. -- DaniRae Renno was voted the sixth Landmark Women's Outdoor Track & Field Senior Scholar-Athlete for the Elizabethtown College women's track & field team on Thursday. She is the fourth to be named outdoors and the third straight award winner from the Etown throws' group.
Renno is a four-time discus medalist and three-time All-Landmark Conference performer for Elizabethtown. She took silver in 2022 and 2024 while earning bronze in 2023 and 2025. She was also a 2023-24 USTFCCCA Div. III Outdoor All-Mid-Atlantic Region thower in the discus after having set the program record that season.
She joins former teammates Trinity Soto '23 and
Mylea Neidig '24 as Blue Jays' throwers that have been named Senior Scholar-Athlete by the conference.
Renno is a three-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District in basketball and received the title in track & field in 2023-24. She is also a three-time Landmark Spring Academic Honor Roll selection as well as a Dean's List student over six semesters. Renno was recently named a Blue Jay Athletic Association Female Distinguished Student Athlete nominee.
A contributor not only in athletics and academics, Renno spent time utilizing her talents across campus, earning numerous student employee awards for departments such as Communications, English, RecWell, and OMC.
Renno donated time to Elizabethtown SAAC, College Center for Community and Civic Engagement and participated in the annual Spring Day of Service.
