Women's track takes ninth at York (Pa.) Twilight Meet

YORK, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's track and field team took a handful of athletes to the York College Twilight Meet on Wednesday after being snowed out this past weekend. Kelsey Brady was the top finisher at the meet for the Blue Jays, who took ninth overall with 43 points.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
-Kelsey Brady, Alexis Groce, and Lia Chak all placed for E-town in the 800m.
-Brady was the runner-up in the 1500m.
-Maria Anderson and Colleen Kernan were both in the top six for the Jays in the 5,000m.

1st place: Kelsey Brady (2:22.39, 800m)
2nd place: Alexis Groce (2:23.79, 800m), Kelsey Brady (4:44.68, 1500m)
3rd place: Maria Anderson (18:14.93, 5,000m)
6th place: Lia Chak (2:27.72, 800m), Colleen Kernan (18:22.15, 5,000m)

Elizabethtown will next compete at the Millersville Metrics on Saturday, April 7.
