Two golds, Track Athlete of the Year for McNamee as Blue Jays place second at Landmark Championship meet

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Brenna McNamee became the first distance runner for the Elizabethtown College women's track and field team to win the 3k and 5k at the same indoor Landmark championship meet on Saturday at Susquehanna University. The Blue Jays totaled 135 points and took second as Moravian reclaimed the Landmark Indoor Championship after E-town won in 2017. Elizabethtown had 13 medals on the day.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
-Brenna McNamee won the 5,000m first before coming back to win the 3,000m. Her 5k time was also a PR and moved her up the all-time list. She was also named the Landmark Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Year.
-Kelsey Brady won three medals, including her second straight indoor mile gold medal and now has the most All-Landmark performances in program history.
-Leah Gamber won her first career gold medal in the throws and set a new PR in the weight throw.
-Elizabethtown finished first or second in all three relay events (4x200m, 4x400m, 4000m DMR).
-All three E-town pole vaulters and both high jumpers reached the podium.
-Lia Chak won her first individual medal of her career and set a new PR in the 400m.
-Natalie Nye improved her time in the 60m hurdles and moved up a spot on the all-time list.
-Karly Deam vaulted up three spots on the all-time list in the pole vault, from ninth to sixth.
-Christina Ippolito had the program's ninth-best jump in the long jump.
-Jordan Sobolesky's mark of 10.13m in the triple jump is now seventh all-time.
-Alexa Feduchak won her first career Landmark Conference medal with a silver in the weight throw.
-The 4x400-meter relay ran the program's ninth-fastest mile relay all-time.

3rd place (bronze, 6 points): Lia Chak (400m, 1:01.83), Carly Allport (800m, 2:23.96), Colleen Kernan (5,000m, 18:56.12).
4th place (4 points): Natalie Nye (pole vault, 2.89m), Christina Ippolito (long jump, 4.85m), Jordan Sobolesky (triple jump, 10.13m), Leah Gamber (weight throw, 12.73m).
