WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Elizabethtown College women's tennis team overcame a 2-1 deficit after doubles to top Catholic, 5-4, Sunday afternoon in Landmark Conference action.
With the win, the Blue Jays improve to 3-3 on the season and 1-3 in league play, while the Cardinals fall to 6-8 on the season and 1-2 in the Landmark.

Kaylee Mustard even the score at one with an 8-5 victory at #3 doubles against junior Aubree Narus and senior Josie Cost. The #2 doubles match proved to be a battle, as sophomore Marissa Stambaugh and senior Liv Sensenbrenner of Catholic slipped past sophomore

Maddy Binder at #2 doubles, 7-7, 10-8.
Etown would take control of the afternoon in the singles portion of the match, winning four of six. Freshman
Gabriella Palladini scored a 6-4, 6-2 victory over junior Abbey Cassidy at #2 singles, while Richards beat Sensenbrenner, 6-2, 6-0, at #3 singles. Rounding out the scoring for the Blue Jays was Mustard at #5 singles against Narus (6-2, 6-3) followed by Binder at #6 singles against Cost, 6-2, 6-3.
Elizabethtown is back in action on Wednesday, April 20 at Lancaster Bible. Opening serve is set for 5 p.m.
