TOWSON, Md. – Junior Kailey Caroland and graduate student Lenea Riehl both earned All-Landmark Conference accolades at singles and doubles, announced by the organization Monday afternoon.
Caroland earned First Team honors at singles and Riehl was named to the Second Team. The duo teamed up to earn a First Team selection at doubles.
Caroland was 5-3 during the spring between #1 and #2 singles. The Ellicott City, Maryland native was a perfect 2-0 at #2 singles and then added a 3-3 mark at #1 singles for the Blue Jays. This is her second All-Landmark singles award for her career.
Riehl wrap up a successful tennis career at Elizabethtown with her third All-Landmark singles selection. The Gap, Pennsylvania native finished the season with a 4-4 record between #1 (1-1) and #2 singles (3-3). Riehl earned Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week Accolades after the Blue Jays season-opener against Scranton.
The pair were outstanding at #1 doubles all season, sporting a 7-1 record. Caroland and Riehl are 17-4 at doubles for their career. This is Caroland second All-Landmark doubles selection and Riehl's third.
