River Hawks Top Blue Jays in Landmark Conference Action

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Elizabethtown women's tennis team fell to Susquehanna, 6-3, Saturday afternoon in Landmark Conference action.

With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 1-3 on the season, while the River Hawks improve to 2-3.

Graduate student Lenae Riehl earned a decisive victory at #2 singles over Grace Tepes, winning by a final score of 6-1, 6-1. She then teamed up with junior Kailey Caroland for an 8-3 victory over Ashlynn Searer and Tepes at #1 doubles, 8-3.

Freshman Kaylee Mustard earned her first collegiate victory at #3 singles, beating Anna Ream 6-4, 6-2.

Freshman Morgan Bleicher and sophomore Katie Hollen went three sets with both of their opponents at #5 singles and #6 singles. Bleicher fell to Chelsea Kneedler 6-1, 5-7, 2-6 and Hollen lost to Isabella Scappaticci 3-6, 6-4, 4-6.
