Haaf Named to All-Region Second Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Capping off an outstanding career, senior JD Haaf earned United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Region Honors, announced by the organization Monday afternoon.

The Breinigsville, Pa. native, Haaf earns All-Region accolades for the first time in his career. It is the fifth consecutive year that the men's soccer team places at least one player on the All-Region team, and it is the highest spot for a Blue Jays' men's soccer player since Gilbert Waso was selected to the second team in 2017.

Haaf set career highs in goals (12) and points (27). He ended the season second in both categories in the Landmark, while leading the conference in shots (80). Haaf also stepped up in league play, tallying a league-best seven goals and 11 points against Landmark opponents. He was the Landmark All-Conference First Team for the first time this season.

The 2019 season was the fifth consecutive year that Elizabethtown tallied 10 or more wins and reached the Landmark Championship. The Blue Jays return 25 players, including seven starters from the conference championship game.
