MADISON, N.J. -- The Elizabethtown College men's soccer team finished in a scoreless tie at Drew Wednesday night in Landmark Conference play.
In what turned out to be a fairly contested game at Ranger Stadium, the Blue Jays were a little slow out of the gate, but turned it up in the second half.
Drew held a 6-2 advantage in shots in the first half. Elizabethtown reversed that in the second half as their play picked up and they outshot the Rangers 9-5.
Caba Alvarez had a chance with 40 seconds left that was saved by the current Defensive Athlete of the Week, goalie Donovan Friedhoff.
The Jays will looked for three points at home on Saturday against Goucher at 1 p.m.
