Throwers place in all events for Blue Jays at Gwynedd Mercy

GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's track and field team had a pair of throwers in action at Wednesday's Gwynedd Mercy Midweek Twilight Invitational. Alexa Feduchak placed in all three of her events while Sarah Fake was also a place finisher for the Blue Jays with an all-time performance in the javelin.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
-Alexa Feduchak finished in the top ten in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw.
-Sarah Fake broke 33.00m in the javelin to claim a spot on the program's all-time list.

TOP TEN MEET PERFORMANCES
4th place: Alexa Feduchak (38.52m, hammer)
5th place: Sarah Fake (33.02m, javelin)
9th place: Alexa Feduchak (9.91m, shot put), Alexa Feduchak (32.17m, discus)

TOP TEN ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES
-Sarah Fake's throw of 33.02m (108'4") in the javelin is the sixth-best throw all-time.

Elizabethtown will have representation at two meets this coming weekend, the Messiah Invitational (April 13-14) and the Bucknell Outdoor Classic (April 14).
