ORLANDO -- Elizabethtown fought back to take a 3-2 lead in Tuesday afternoon's match against Rhodes at the USTA National Campus, but the Lynx prevailed 6-3.

The Blue Jays (2-3) broke into the win column in doubles for the first time in three Spring Break matches when Sarah Donner and Kaitlyn O'Connor defeated Kayle Thorson and Marissa Bobay, 8-4, at No. 3 to tie the match at one.

Amber Burd and Laura Gribble were edged at second doubles, 8-6, by Rhodes' tandem of Tricia Sculco and Mia Mullen.

Elizabethtown captured the first two singles decisions to go in front. O'Connor topped Grace Merriman 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6, and Donner got past Mullen 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4.

The Lynx (3-6) regained the lead with straight set victories from No. 3 Sculco, No. 2 Caroline Doherty, No. 5 Thorson and No. 1 Dasha Safarian.

Once the Blue Jays return to Pennsylvania, they'll begin preparations for Landmark Conference play. The three-time defending conference champs begin league play on Saturday, March 24, at Moravian.
