Riehl named Landmark Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. -- Elizabethtown College sophomore Lenea Riehl was named Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Riehl helped the Blue Jays to a 5-4 home victory over FDU-Florham on Sunday with wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.

Riehl and doubles partner Meghan Chemidlin rallied from a 6-2 deficit against the Devils' top pair of Nicole DelRosso and Christine Kenny to pull out an 8-6 victory for the Blue Jays' lone doubles point.

The Gap, Pa., native later sent DelRosso to her first singles loss of the season in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.

Monday's award marked the first weekly honor of Riehl's career and first for Elizabethtown this season.
