Field athletes shine at S.U. Invite

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Without the full complement of athletes at Friday's S.U. Invite, the Elizabethtown College women's track and field team made some noise in the field events. Eight different athletes placed in their events for the Blue Jays, who are a week out from defending their Landmark Conference indoor title.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- E-town had top ten finishers in the 4x200m relay, high jump (2), pole vault (2), triple jump (2), shot put, and weight throw.
- Leah Gamber was the team's top finisher at the meet (shot put).
- Natalie Nye set a new PR in the 60-meter hurdles.

TOP TEN MEET PERFORMANCES
5th place: Leah Gamber (shot put, 11.30m)
7th place: 4x200m relay, Natalie Nye (pole vault, 2.90m)
8th place: Haley Prengaman (triple jump, 9.43m), Alexa Feduchak (weight throw, 13.13m)
T8th place: Katie Snyder (high jump, 1.37m), Emma Ager (high jump, 1.37m)
9th place: Kamara Litchauer (triple jump, 9.30m), Paiton Kelly (pole vault, 2.60m)

TOP TEN ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES
-Natalie Nye's 11.10 in the 60m hurdles moved her from sixth to fifth all-time.

Elizabethtown will compete at the 2018 Landmark Conference Indoor Championships and look to become the first team other than Moravian to go back-to-back.
