ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Elizabethtown College women's tennis rolled over Muhlenberg, 8-1, Tuesday afternoon at the Alumni Courts.

Junior Taylor Helsel eclipsed 70 career combined victories with her eighth straight win at No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-0 over Hannah Molk) and seventh in a row at No. 1 doubles with Madison McCall (8-5 over Jamie Rosenblum/Molk).

The Blue Jays improved to 11-3 on the year and have now won eight consecutive matches. It's the program's longest winning streak since going 11 in a row without a loss during the 2011-12 season.

Meghan Chemidlin and Laura Gribble picked up an 8-2 win over the Mules' (2-8) Jourdyn Buckheit and Carina Nicolaisen, while the No. 2's Lauren Berry and Sam Procak claimed an 8-3 win over Meghan Olsen and Jenny Levenson.

Elizabethtown won 5-of-6 singles matches in straight sets. Procak beat Levenson 6-1, 6-0, before Helsel got career win No. 71 against Molk.

Berry was victorious against Olsen 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3, Chemidlin won her 15th singles match of the season 6-2, 6-4 over Buckheit at No. 5 and Gribble took the first set 6-1 against Nicolaisen and was tied in the second before the Muhlenberg entry retired.

Elizabethtown snapped a two-match losing streak to the Mules and will now head to Moravian for a Landmark Conference match Saturday at 1 p.m.
