2015 NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Elizabethtown College men's soccer was represented on all three National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region Teams, which were unveiled Thursday afternoon. Martin Fevre and Gilbert Waso were First Team selections, while Rodrigo Barrera made Second Team and Shane Votto Third Team.

It marks the first time since 2010 that the Blue Jays have had four all-region players in the same season.

Fevre, the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year, collected nine goals and five assists for 23 points, third most on the team. He led the Blue Jays with four game-winning goals. The native of Chablis, France, earned all-conference honors in each of his four seasons with the program. He was honored twice by both the Commonwealth Conference and the Landmark Conference, earning First Team accolades in 2012, 2014 and 2015. With Fevre on the backline, E-town posted the Landmark's best defensive team numbers in 2015.

Fevre also received CoSIDA Academic All-District® and All-America® honors this fall. He was the first Blue Jay to be named Academic All-America® First Team since Jay Varrato in 1991.

Waso took the Landmark Conference by storm and was named its Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year in addition to landing on the All-Landmark First Team. Waso, who resides in Elizabethtown, produced nine goals and a conference best eight assists for 26 points during his rookie campaign. The dynamic forward started his career with points in five straight games and ended the year with at least one point in 13-of-20 contests.

Barrera, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, registered new career-highs in wins (17), goals against average (0.79), minutes played (1,703:44) and saves (77). He started all 20 games for the Blue and Gray and led the Landmark in wins, goals against average, shutouts (eight) and save percentage (.837). He was among six Blue Jays voted to the All-Landmark First Team. Barrera was also named CoSIDA Academic All-District® First Team and All-America® Third Team.

Votto controlled the midfield for coach Skip Roderick. The senior from Ardmore, Pa., amassed five goals and three assists for 13 points. Votto had two game-winning goals and his 39 shots ranked third on the team behind Waso and Jeff Light. Along with Elizabethtown's three other all-region picks, Votto was an All-Landmark First Team player in 2015.

Elizabethtown finished the 2015 season with a 17-2-1 record and advanced to the Landmark Conference championship game.
