TOWSON, Md. — The Elizabethtown College men's cross country team had one job to do Saturday morning and they got it done as the Jays won their first-ever Landmark Conference XC Championship. E-town had all five runners finish tenth or better and placed nine athletes in the top 17. The Blue Jays finished 29 points better than second place Susquehanna.

Dan Gresh became Elizabethtown's first individual conference champion since 2011, running a meet-best 26:22.77 to win the Landmark title. He finished nine seconds better than Dillon Farrell of Moravian, who had won the past two Landmark Championship races.

Susquehanna's top two runners took third and fourth before Ryan Conway crossed in fifth place. Conway ran 26:49.5 for his best conference-meet finish of his career.

Sam Cooper gave E-town its third runner in the top ten with a seventh-place run. Cooper finished in 27:11.6. Sophomores Keegan McDonough (ninth) and Jon Anderson (tenth) were the final two point scorers for the Jays, crossing in 27:34.0 and 27:44.8, respectively.

Zach Trama and Andrew Lesko came in right behind Anderson. Trama clocked in at 27:45.2 while Lesko ran 27:48. Adam Harriger (15th) and Kegan Flagg (17th) made it nine E-town runners in the top 17.
