Andrew Mantz of the men's basketball team averaged 10 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as the Blue Jays finished the 2013-14 season with games at Stevenson and Albright this past week.
Mantz came up a point and a rebound short of a double-double Tuesday at Stevenson, with a nine-point, nine-rebound performance. He also blocked two shots in the 65-51 loss to the Mustangs.
Saturday at Albright, Mantz did his best to try and keep Albright from reaching the Commonwealth Conference Tournament. He scored 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting and secured a game-high 12 rebounds in 36 minutes before fouling out.
Mantz ends his career with four-year totals of 943 points (9.7 per game), 621 rebounds (6.4 per game) and 137 blocks. He set new career-highs this winter in total points, points per game, total rebounds, rebounds per game, assists (27) and blocks (44) while starting a career-high 25 games.
