Senior center Lee Eckert posted back-to-back 20-point games as the Blue Jay men's basketball team took third at the season-opening Lycoming Dutch Burch Tip-Off Tournament.

Eckert went for 20 on 10-of-19 shooting in a 74-59 loss to defending NCAA DIII Sweet 16 participant Plattsburgh State Saturday night. The Lancaster native also grabbed seven rebounds and blocked a shot.

Elizabethtown won its consolation game over Penn St. Schuylkill, 98-72, Sunday with Eckert's 20 points again leading the way. Eckert hit 9-of-12 shots in the victory (75%), while adding six rebounds. He was named to the all-tournament team following Sunday's game.
