Traci Tempone started out her junior cross country season on a high note two Saturdays ago at Shippensburg, and picked up right where she left off in this past Saturday's Misericordia Cougar Classic. Her 6k time of 23:14.84 was nearly nine full seconds better than second place finisher Marina Orrson of Misericordia. The two runners finished 1-2 in last year's Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet at Messiah, with Tempone taking the victory. The win was Tempone's second of her collegiate career and led E-town to the team victory on the course that will host this year's MAC Championships.
