Senior jumper/sprinter Jenna Niedermayer broke yet another school record Saturday as the women's track & field team opened its outdoor season at the Washington and Lee Carnival.

Niedermayer's high jump of 5'3-3/4" (1.62m) just edged out Chelsea Miles' 2008 school record of 5'3-1/4" (1.61m) by half an inch.

In addition to her new school record, the Cinnaminson, N.J. native set a new personal record by two full inches with her Saturday performance. Niedermayer's previous best outdoor high jump registered 5'1-3/4" (1.57m) at last season's MAC Outdoor Championships.
