Freshman Rodrigo Barrera of the men's soccer team stopped eight shots in Sunday afternoon's 1-0 double overtime win over Johns Hopkins. Barrera, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, earned his first career shutout in the game and was named Brothers Pizza Blue Jay Classic Defensive Most Valuable Player. He made his collegiate debut back on Saturday, Sept. 1, stopping three shots in 47:24, as the Blue Jays played to a 0-0 draw at DeSales.
