Elizabethtown College Athletics

For the second time this year, junior forward Taylor Kreider has been named an Elizabethtown College Player of the Week. Kreider put her skills on full display Thursday night in the Jays' 66-55 loss to unbeaten and 11th-ranked York (Pa.). She had 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting to go along with 14 rebounds for her sixth double-double this season. The Solanco grad added a block and two steals in the defeat.

Saturday at Albright, Kreider scored 15 points and brought down seven rebounds in a 67-65 E-town win. Named Commonwealth Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, Jan. 7, Kreider is the only player in the conference to be averaging a double-double for the season (15.2 points per game, 11.1 rebounds per game).
