Freshman Emma Christman registered a pair of two-goal games during a four-goal, one-assist week that saw the Blue Jay field hockey team earn victories over Ferrum and Moravian.
Christman found the back of the cage twice for her first collegiate multi-goal game last Tuesday in a 12-0 stomping of Ferrum. The rookie was active throughout the game, taking a team-high nine shots (six on goal). She also assisted on a goal, her third of the season, to finish with five points.
In Sunday's 5-1 win over Moravian, Christman again scored twice. She had the Blue Jays' second goal of the afternoon in the 32nd minute and capped the scoring in the 50th.
For the season, the Owen J. Roberts product has played in 15-of-16 games with seven goals and three assists for 17 points. She ranks third on the team in scoring.
