Sophomore Jeff Light, of the men's soccer team, had a career night Saturday against Juniata, scoring a natural hat trick and seven points in a 5-0 victory. Light's cross in the 36th minute set up Ian Harrigan's goal to make it 2-0 Blue Jays late in the first half. The forward then added goals of his own in the 72nd, 75th and 82nd minutes. Light came into Saturday's game with an assist in 21 career games before the breakout performance.
Light's seven-point effort was the largest scoring output by an Elizabethtown player in 11 years, going back to Brian Healy's seven-point game (2g, 3a) in an 8-0 win over Scranton Sept. 7, 2003.
