Senior Traci Tempone raced her way to MAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year honors at the conference championship meet Saturday.

The Collegeville native collected two gold medals and a silver. In her first race of the day, Tempone finished second in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 10:17.15. She came back strong in her final two races defending her 2013 titles in the mile and the 5,000-meter run of the day successfully.

Tempone's win in the 5k was her third straight at the MAC Indoor Championships.
