MIDDLETOWN, Pa.—Sara Watson found a wide-open net two minutes into overtime to seal the Elizabethtown field hockey's 2-1 win over Penn St.-Harrisburg.
Etown struck first in the first quarter as
Kaylie Noel grabbed her first assist on the season
Hannah Long scored her fifth goal of the season. In the 16
th minute, the Lions found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1.
In the second half, the Blue Jays outshot the Lions 6-4. Following a crucial overtime save by
Lily DeBlasio Etown marched back down the field. From Long, Watson made her way around the Lions goalie, scoring the game-winner in overtime.
Etown will host Hood on Wednesday, September 23
rd for their youth night at 7 pm.
