HARRISBURG, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown baseball team blasted four home runs en-route to a 9-2 win over Penn St.-Harrisburg on Monday.
David Woolley led with two home runs while going 3 for 6 with four RBI.
Alex McClain recorded his fifth home run of the season as he went 2 for 5 with two RBI.
AJ Lipscomb tallied the final home run and went 4 for 5 with two RBI.
Tommy Kanakos went 3 for 4 rounding out the Blue Jays with a multi-hit game.
Justin Marraccini earned his fourth win of the season striking out six.
The Blue Jays bats heated up quickly as Woolley and McClain each smacked a solo home run to go up, 2-0. In the second inning, Woolley recorded his second home run of the season to extend Etown's lead to 3-0. Etown tacked on four more runs on five hits in the third.
Nick Fiorini led off the inning with a double to center field and then was brought home by McClain's single. The Lions pitcher's loaded the bases forcing a walk home for the Jays fifth run. With two outs on the board, Woolley knocked a single to score two.
Penn St.-Harrisburg recorded their first hit of the game in the third inning as the Blue Jays led, 7-0. The Lions scored their lone two runs in the sixth. In the eighth, Fiorini led off the inning with a walk. Lipscomb hit a two-run home run securing Etown's 9-2 win.
Etown travels to York (Pa.) on Wednesday.
