SCRANTON, Pa. -- Second-ranked Scranton showed its might on Saturday against the Elizabethtown College women's basketball team. The Royals defeated the Blue Jays, 88-48.
Makenna Mummert had a team-high 16 points for Etown.
Scranton led by double figures after the first quarter, 21-9. The Royals posted another 21 points in the second quarter and led 42-19 at halftime.
The deficit wasn't any easier to make up as Scranton hit on 10 of their 11 attempts from the floor in the third quarter.
Ava Chapman hit a pair of threes in the game and tied
Allyia Kennedy with nine points.
Elizabethtown will host Juniata on February 11 at 7 p.m.
