BETHLEHEM, Pa.—Moravian showed too much for the Elizabethtown men's basketball team as the Greyhounds downed the Blue Jays, 115-82.
Rance Russo led the team with 17 points while
Austin Finarelli totaled 11 points.
Augie Brody added ten points from the bench.
Moravian grabbed the lead early in the 17
th minute following a three. Several Blue Jay layups brought the team within two, minutes later. Midway through the half the Greyhounds continued to hold the lead at 22-15. In the next several minutes, Moravian had managed to extend their lead 35-23. Just under two minutes remaining Moravian sunk a three to bring their lead to 45-31. At halftime Moravian held a 17-point lead (48-31).
The Greyhounds held their momentum going up by 28 points within the first five minutes of the second half. The Greyhounds continued to overpower Etown throughout as they would go on to win, 115-82.
Elizabethtown returns home Wednesday, February 12 at 7 pm to host Goucher.
