ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.— The Susquehanna men's basketball team got away from Elizabethtown in Landmark Conference play, defeating the Blue Jays, 94-77.
Austin Finarelli led the team with 22 points, going 8 for 14 from the floor and 4 for 9 from the arch. 
EJ Finney totaled 15 points, nine assists, and four rebounds. 
Zuri Harris added ten points from the bench.
Susquehanna led 10-7 early within the first five minutes of the game. In the next five minutes, Susquehanna doubled up on their lead, leading 23-11. With five minutes remaining in the first half, 
Reese Ziegler, Finarelli, and 
Rance Russo got the Blue Jays back within one of the River Hawks. A Finney layup put the Jays up by one before the River Hawks would go up by nine points going into halftime.
Three's from Finarelli and 
Ben Stanton started off the shooting for Etown in the second half. In the 14
th  minute, Finarelli sunk a three as Elizabethtown trailed by just two. About a minute later, Stanton added another 3-pointer on his day. Midway through the half, Susquehanna led, 67-60. From there the River Hawks had the momentum to run away with a 17-point win over Elizabethtown.
Elizabethtown will travel to Catholic on Wednesday, February 5 at 7pm.
