WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.-- After outscoring Lycoming, 40-33 in the first half the Elizabethtown men's basketball held off the Warriors in the second to win 83-80.
Austin Finarelli led the team with 22 points while grabbing six rebounds and two steals.
Rance Russo totaled 20 points.

EJ Finney, and
Ben Stanton all totaled eight points each. Finney also grabbed six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
Finney got the game started with a layup to start the first half. Five minutes into the game, Ziegler sank a 3-pointer to put Elizabethtown out in front, 10-8. Minutes later, Lycoming took a four-point lead at the 12-minute mark.
MJ Branker and Russo regained the Jays lead about midway through the half. In the next eight minutes neither team could gain a lead by more than two-points. To finish out the half Etown made the next six-points along with three free-throws to lead, 40-33 going into halftime.
The Blue Jays brought their momentum from the first half into the second to start as they took an early nine-point lead following a Finarelli layup. Shortly after Lycoming began to chip away at Elizabethtown's lead coming within one five minutes into the half. Stanton sank a three to tie up the game to 56 all. Three straight buckets by Finarelli put Etown back on top, 66-56. Russo then added a 3-pointer to greater extend the team's lead at the midway point of the half. About four minutes later, Russo dropped in another 3-pointer. In the final minutes the Warriors would cut down Etown's lead but final three-throws by Russo secured the 83-80 win.
Elizabethtown returns home Wednesday, January 29 to finish up the series against Juniata.
