MIDDLETOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown baseball team opened up the NCAA Harrisburg, Pa. Regional Tournament, Friday against Randolph-Macon. The Blue Jays struggled to get their bats going as they fell, 4-0 to the Yellow Jackets.
Randolph-Macon went up early, scoring two runs in the second off a RBI double and a wild pitch. The Yellow Jackets secured their win in the eighth as they added on two more runs to win, 4-0.
Etown was held to just three hits while RM-C tallied nine.
Nicholas Ortega pitched seven innings while tallying two strikeouts.
The Blue Jays will take on Bridgewater St. at 12 PM in the elimination game. Penn St.-Harrisburg has changed the schedule this weekend due to rain, there will just be two games tomorrow.
