ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown baseball team took two from visiting Wilkes in Landmark Conference play, Saturday winning 8-0, 13-9 on senior day.

GAME 1: ELIZABETHTOWN 8; WILKES 0
Elizabethtown posted an 8-0 shutout in game one against Wilkes on senior day.
Joey Smith earned the win on the mound, pitching six innings while recording three strikeouts. Etown grabbed their first run of the game in the first off a sacrifice fly. The next three innings were scoreless until the Blue Jays put two more on the board in the fifth.
Alex McClain reached on a fielder's choice and advanced on
Griffin Patridge's single to center field.
David Woolley smacked a double to left center to bring home Patridge and McClain.
To start the sixth, Bednar reached first after being hit by a pitch.
RJ Agriss hit a RBI-double to left center to score Bednar. Etown would score two more runs in the sixth off a hit by pitch and walk after loading the bases. After six innings, Elizabethtown led, 6-0. The Blue Jays tacked on two more runs in the eighth to secure the 8-0 win over the Colonels.
Ryan Redding pinch hit for a RBI-single to shortstop for Etown's seventh run. With bases loaded, a hit by pitch brought Woolley home for the Blue Jays final run.
Woolley went 2-3 with two runs, three RBIs, and a double.
GAME 2: ELIZABETHTOWN 13; WILKES 9
The second game between Etown and Wilkes was a different story, Wilkes started off the scoring with two runs in the first. Etown then held a 6-2 lead through the third until the Colonels bats got hot to tie up the game, 9-9 in the eighth. Elizabethtown again scored their first run of the game on a sacrifice fly. The Blue Jays took a 5-2 lead after back-to-back home runs. Schwartbeck hit a two-run shot followed by Woolley's solo both to left field. Etown continued rolling as they scored at least one run in the first four innings. In the third, Agriss hit a RBI-single to bring the score to, 6-2.
Wilkes scored two runs on two hits in the fourth as they trailed the Blue Jays, 6-4. In the bottom half of the inning, Elizabethtown doubled their lead over Wilkes, 9-4. To lead off the inning,
Joe Limongelli doubled down the left field line, McClain and Schwartzbeck each hit a single which brought home Limongelli.
Quinten Perilli and
Mason Woolwine each recorded an RBI to end the inning with a 9-4 lead. Wilkes again responded scoring two runs in the fifth, one in the sixth and tied up the game 9-9 in the eighth.
In the eighth, Elizabethtown singled, advanced on a sacrifice bunt and then walked to load two on the bases. A hit by pitch loaded the bases with three before Woolwine would hit a grand slam to left field; securing the Blue Jays, 13-9 win.
Zach Silfies earned the win on the mound as he struck out the final three in the ninth for his third win of the season.
