ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Catholic Cardinals proved too much for the Elizabethtown women's lacrosse team as they got off to a hot start, Wednesday on Wolf Field.
The Cardinals scored 11 times in the opening quarter with the first two goals being free-position attempts. At halftime, the Cardinals led 16-0. The Cardinals would go on to score five more goals each in the final two quarters. With five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter,

Madison Hennelly for Etown's lone goal of the game. Catholic scored two more goals in the final quarter to win, 26-1.
Hennelly and
Sam Deiaco each tallied three shots for the Blue Jays. Catholic out shot Elizabethtown 42-10. Catholic was also strong on the draw as they grabbed 20 draw controls.
Drew Bridges grabbed five of Etown's nine draw controls.
Rachel Murphy made eight saves in goal for Etown.
Elizabethtown is back on the road this Saturday as they face Wilkes at 1PM.
