BETHLEHEM, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's lacrosse was defeated, 19-9 at Moravian in Landmark Conference play on Wednesday.
Moravian took control early, coming out to a 6-0 lead midway through the first quarter.

Sam Deiaco for Elizabethtown's first goal of the game at the 7:31 minute mark. The Greyhounds would rack up five more goals as Moravian grabbed an 11-1 lead after one. The Greyhounds used five goal scorers in the first quarter. Within the first minute of play in the second quarter, Etown was on the board again.
Megan Meyer notched a free position goal. About 30 seconds later, the Greyhounds added a free position goal of their own to go up to a ten-point lead. At the nine minute mark, Bach added another assist to her day as she fed
Madison Hennelly. Moravian would go into the half up, 16-3.
To start the third quarter, Hennelly added her second goal of the game. Minutes later, Moravian added another before Deiaco would score on a free position. With five minutes left in the quarter, Moravian tallied their 18th goal of the game. Hennelly and Deiaco would complete their hat-tricks as Etown trailed, 18-7 at the end of the third. The fourth quarter was a low-scoring affair as the Deiaco added two goals while Moravian scored their final goal as the clock went to zero.
Elizabethtown will travel to Scranton this Saturday at 1PM.
