BETHLEHEM, Pa.-- Sophomore,
Quinten Perilli recorded two hits to reach his 100th career-hit against Moravian on Wednesday in Landmark Conference play. The Blue Jays fell short, 3-1 as the Greyhounds knocked a two-run homer in the eighth to secure their win.
Elizabethtown scored their lone run in the third and until the sixth inning the Blue Jays held a 1-0 lead.
RJ Agriss reached on a fielder's choice and advanced to second. On another fielder's choice, Agriss reached third base.
Joe Limongelli was walked which forced Agriss to score. Moravian tied up the game at 1-1 in the sixth off an RBI-single. With one out, the Greyhounds hit a single in the bottom of the eighth. The following batter smacked a two-run homer to right center field which would secure the Greyhounds, 3-1 win.
Elizabethtown ends their road stint with a non-conference doubleheader at Immaculata this Saturday starting at 12PM.
