GLENSIDE, Pa. -- Senior
DaniRae Renno recorded a career-high 30 points as the Elizabethtown College women's basketball team shot nearly 57 percent from the floor in their double-digit win at Arcadia.
Elizabethtown got out to a fast start as four of the five starters accounted for the first 10 points of the game for the Blue Jays. Arcadia hung around with some threes, but Etown did not relinquish the lead at all.
The Knights closed to within four points by the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was a different story as the Jays began pulling away.
It was 26-20 in favor of EC with 8:40 to go before halftime when Elizabethtown went on a 26-15 run to close out the quarter. Renno dominated the painted area with 16 first-half points.

Makenna Mummert each pumped in 14 apiece, both players hitting a pair of threes for the Jays.
Etown shot 22-for-34 in the half, just shy of 65 percent.
Renno had her way in the post, going 13-for-16 from the floor and hitting all four free throw attempts.
Elizabethtown shot 34-for-60 as a team and the defense held Arcadia leading scorer Hanna Rhoades to single digits (9 points) for only the second time this season and did not allow the junior to hit a three for the first time this year.Â
This was also the Knights' worst shooting performance from the three-point line all year, hitting just five of 27 attempts (.185).
The Blue Jays will have off until they host Ursinus on Monday, December 30.
