SELINSGROVE, Pa.-- Drew Bridges scored the Elizabethtown field hockey team's lone goal, Saturday afternoon at Susquehnna as the Blue Jays fell, 2-1.
The River Hawks got on the board first in the 12th minute of the first quarter. For the next two quarters, Susquehanna continued to dominate out shooting the Blue Jays, 20-7.
Angelina Giglio-Tos made 12 of her 13 saves in the second and third quarters.
Three minutes into the third quarter, Bridges found the back of the net with the assist from
Hailey Meyer. Minutes later Susquehanna notched their second goal of the day which would ultimately become the game-winner.
The Blue Jays move to 4-8 overall. Elizabethtown will host Catholic on Tuesday, October 15 at 6 PM.
