GALLOWAY, N.J.-- The Elizabethtown field hockey team fell, 3-0 at Stockton Thursday evening. Junior goalie,
Rachel Murphy recorded a career-high 18 saves.
Stockton was dominant in the first quarter as they fired off 11 shots. Elizabethtown held strong, not allowing a goal with Murphy tallying eight saves in the goal. In the second quarter, just a minute into play the Blue Jays drew a penalty corner.
Megan Meyer recorded a shot but it was saved by the Ospreys goalie. Five minutes later, Stockton recorded their first goal of the game.
Stockton wasted no time in holding possession as they tallied seven shots before scoring their second goal of the game at the 41 minute mark. In the fourth quarter, Stockton was quick to start as they tallied their final four minutes into play.
After five games on the road Etown returns home this Saturday, September 30 at 1 PM as they host Drew.
