CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown field hockey team defeated Wilson College in overtime, Wednesday evening as Mia Fino tallied the game-winner in the 60:57 minute.

The first quarter was scoreless but Elizabethtown held control earning four penalty corners with three of them being back-to-back. With 40 seconds remaining in the second following a Hannah Long shot that hit the post, Drew Bridges recorded the Blue Jays first goal. Heading into the half, the Phoenix and Blue Jays were tied 1-1.

Wilson was quick to act in the third quarter as they re-took the lead just two minutes in. Again towards the end of the quarter at the 43rd minute mark, Etown was on the board to tie up the game, 2-2. Long recorded the goal for the Blue Jays. The fourth quarter was back-n-forth until the final three minutes when Wilson held possession. Following two consecutive shots by the Phoenix, Wilson drew a penalty shot. In the 58th minute, Angelina Giglio-Tos made a big save that would force the teams to head into overtime.

Just about a minute into overtime, Bridges assisted Fino from the right side for the game-winning goal. Elizabethtown defeated Wilson, 3-2.
