CARLISLE, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's volleyball team suffered a pair of losses on Saturday afternoon at the Dickinson College Tri-Match. The Blue Jays fell, 3-2 to Dickinson before falling, 3-2 to Washington & Jefferson.
DICKINSON 3, ELIZABETHTOWN 2
Set scores were 25-20, 20-25, 25-19, 23-25, 9-15.
Savannah Lesley led the team and recorded a career-high 21 kills with
Kate Barbon adding in ten and
Katie Scaggs getting nine.
Gracie Bitten tallied three block assists while Lesley and
Georgianna Kahley each added two block assists.
Jena Minnick totaled 24 assists with
Emma Bitner getting, 22.
Kambrie Hepler led with 31 digs while Kahley recorded 17.
ELIZABETHTOWN 2, WASHINGTON & JEFFERSON 3
Set scores were 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 17-25, 12-15
Lesley again led the team with 16 kills while Britten and Scaggs each pitched in nine kills.
Scaggs and Barbon each recorded three block assists.
Minnick tallied 22 assists and Barbon totaled 16.
Hepler tied a career-high 38 digs with Kahley totaling 20 digs.
Etown returns home Tuesday, September 19 at 7PM as they host Penn St.-Berks.
